Landing Page

Build your email list with a focused, distraction-free signup experience. Perfect for waitlists, newsletter signups, and lead generation campaigns.

Overview

Landing Page mode is the email capture state designed for building email lists and collecting leads. Unlike Competition or Gamification modes, this focuses exclusively on email submission with a clean, minimal interface.

After visitors submit their email, they see customizable post-capture content with your thank you message and next steps.

Key Characteristics

Email-First Design

The primary call-to-action is the email form. No distractions from entry methods or social buttons.

Post-Capture Flow

After submission, show custom content with next steps, confirmation, or additional offers.

Minimal Interface

Entry buttons, social sharing, referrals, and prize displays are all hidden for a clean experience.

Lead Generation

Optimized for list building with email integration support for Mailchimp and MailerLite.

When to Use Landing Page

Landing Page mode is ideal for these scenarios:

Newsletter Signups

Build your subscriber list with a focused signup experience. No distractions, just email collection.

Product Launch Waitlists

Collect emails from interested users before your product launches. Build anticipation with countdown timers.

Early Access Programs

Let users sign up for beta testing or early access. Use post-capture content to set expectations.

Event Registration

Collect registrations for webinars, launches, or live events. Confirm attendance in post-capture content.

Lead Magnets

Offer downloadable content in exchange for email addresses. Deliver the content link in post-capture or via email.

How It Works

Setting up a Landing Page is straightforward:

1

Create a new promotion in your dashboard

2

Navigate to the Setup tab and toggle "Offer Prize" to ON

3

Select "Landing Page" from the page type options

4

Configure your post-capture content in the Prizes tab

5

Add your campaign details, images, and description

Note: Landing Page mode requires the Offer Prize toggle to be ON. This enables the post-capture content configuration in the Prizes tab.

What Users See

Visible Elements

  • Email capture form with submit button
  • Campaign header with logo and title
  • Campaign description
  • Banner image or video
  • Privacy policy link
  • Post-capture content (after submission)

Hidden Elements

  • Entry method buttons
  • Social share buttons
  • Referral section
  • Prize display
  • Leaderboard
  • Points or entries counter

Post-Capture Content

After a user submits their email, they see your custom post-capture content. Configure this in the Prizes tab when Landing Page mode is selected.

Configuration Fields

  • Heading - The main thank you message (e.g., "Welcome aboard!")
  • Description - Next steps or additional information

Example Content

Heading:

"You are on the list!"

Description:

"We have sent you a confirmation email with next steps. Look out for our welcome email with exclusive content."

Tips: Set expectations (when will they hear from you?), provide next steps (check email, follow social), and add value (mention what they will receive). Keep it concise.

Email Integration

Connect your email marketing platform to automatically sync new signups:

Mailchimp

Sync signups directly to your Mailchimp audience. See Mailchimp Integration for setup.

MailerLite

Add new subscribers to your MailerLite groups. See MailerLite Integration for setup.

Best Practices

  • Use a compelling headline that clearly states the value proposition
  • Keep the form simple - email-only is best for maximum conversions
  • Add urgency with countdown timers for limited-time offers
  • Write action-oriented button text ("Join Now", "Get Access", "Reserve My Spot")
  • Include a privacy note to build trust
  • Make sure post-capture content sets clear expectations
  • Connect email integration to start nurturing leads immediately
  • Test on mobile - ensure the form works perfectly on all devices

When NOT to Use Landing Page

Consider other page types when:

  • You want users to perform social actions - use Competition or Gamification
  • You need referral functionality - use Competition or Gamification
  • You want to display and give away prizes - use Competition
  • You need complex entry methods - use Competition
  • You want points, leaderboards, or rewards - use Gamification

See Page Types for a complete comparison of all modes.
