Competitions

Run exciting giveaways with prizes and random winner selection. Competition mode lets participants earn entries through actions, with winners chosen at random when your campaign ends.

Overview

Competition mode transforms your campaign into a traditional giveaway. Participants complete actions to earn entries, and when your campaign ends, you randomly select winners from all eligible entrants.

This format works well for product launches, viral marketing campaigns, and any time you want to generate excitement around specific prizes.

2

3

The system randomly chooses from all eligible entrants

4

How Random Selection Works

  • Each entry counts as one chance to win
  • More entries = higher probability of selection
  • Selection is cryptographically random for fairness
  • Previous winners are excluded from subsequent draws

Re-rolling Winners

If needed, you can re-roll to select a different winner. This might be useful if:

  • A winner is unresponsive after contact attempts
  • A winner is ineligible (wrong region, disqualified, etc.)
  • A winner declines the prize

Note: All selection actions are logged for transparency and audit purposes.

Promoting Winners

Once you've selected winners, you can choose to display them publicly:

Winner Display Options

  • Enable "Promote Winner" to show winner names on your campaign page
  • Winners appear after the campaign ends
  • Only first name or display name is shown (privacy-safe)
  • Adds credibility and social proof for future campaigns

Benefits of Public Winners

  • Proves your giveaway is legitimate
  • Creates social proof for future campaigns
  • Winners can share their win, extending reach
  • Builds trust with your audience
