Track performance, monitor engagement, and gain insights into your promotions with comprehensive analytics.
Overview
The Analytics Dashboard provides real-time insights into how your promotions are performing. Track visitor engagement, monitor traffic sources, analyze activity patterns, and understand your audience behavior - all in one unified interface.

Dashboard Controls
The top toolbar provides powerful controls to customize your analytics view:

Promotion Selector
Switch between promotions using the dropdown. Active promotions appear first, followed by completed ones. Each promotion shows a thumbnail image for quick identification.
Date Range Filter
Filter analytics by time period. Choose from presets like "Last 7 days", "Last 30 days", "Last 90 days", "This month", or select a custom date range to analyze specific periods.
Real-Time Updates
Enable real-time updates to see live data as visitors interact with your promotion. Configure the refresh interval (default 30 seconds) to balance between freshness and performance.
Export to CSV
Export your analytics data to CSV format for further analysis in spreadsheets or other tools. The export includes all metrics visible in the current view.
Analytics Tabs
The dashboard is organized into three main tabs, each providing different insights:
Overview
See activity trends, traffic sources, hourly patterns, and conversion funnels at a glance.
Recent Activity
View a live click stream showing real-time visitor actions and engagement events.
Referrals
Track referral performance and see which participants are driving the most traffic.
Note: Gamification mode promotions also include a dedicated "Gamification" tab with leaderboard analytics.
Activity Trends
The Activity Trends chart visualizes performance over your selected time period:

- Daily vs Cumulative - Toggle between daily values or running totals to see growth over time
- Line vs Area - Switch between line chart and filled area chart visualization styles
- Performance metrics - Track entries, page views, and engagement trends
Traffic Sources
Understand where your traffic is going with the Traffic Sources donut chart:

See which destinations receive the most outbound clicks
- Destination breakdown - See which external links visitors click most (e.g., Kickstarter, social platforms, your website)
- Click counts - Each destination shows the total number of outbound clicks
- Visual proportions - The donut chart shows relative traffic distribution at a glance
Additional Charts
Pro users have access to additional analytics charts:
Hourly Activity Chart
Discover which hours of the day generate the most engagement. Use this to optimize when you share your promotion or run ads.
Weekly Pattern Chart
See which days of the week perform best. Identify patterns to plan your marketing activities around peak engagement times.
Conversion Funnel
Track the journey from page view to entry completion. Identify where visitors drop off and optimize your promotion accordingly.
Recent Activity
The Recent Activity tab shows a live stream of visitor actions:
- Live click stream - See entries and actions as they happen in real-time
- Action types - Track different engagement types (entries, clicks, shares)
- Timestamps - Know exactly when each action occurred
- User details - See anonymized visitor information for each event
Referrals
Track how participants are sharing your promotion with others:
- Top referrers - See which participants are driving the most new entries
- Referral conversions - Track how many referred visitors actually enter
- Share performance - Understand which sharing methods work best
Tip: The Referrals tab is available for Contest and Gamification mode promotions where referral tracking is enabled.

- Enable real-time updates during active promotions to monitor engagement live
- Use date range filters to compare performance across different time periods
- Export your data regularly for backup and deeper analysis in spreadsheet tools
- Check the Hourly Activity chart to find optimal times to promote on social media
- Monitor the Conversion Funnel to identify and fix drop-off points in your promotion
- Use Traffic Sources to understand which platforms drive the most valuable traffic
